It's easy to understand why Frazier hates Ali to the extent that he mocks his illness. That kind of betrayal and general scumbaggery is never forgotten or forgiven.

 

Ali had no class, he was a disgrace. No excuses.

People have a very idealised view of what Ali was like back in the day though, I remember telling a friend a while back about how Ali was calling Frazier a black ugly gorilla and all that and they were like what, really? no way not our precious ali etc etc

Ali was a dick and somewhat of a freak. **** he said about Frazier is just ridiculous.. How could he preach about how wrong is racism and his black brothers and mock Frazier as a gorilla with a flat nose and 'too black skin' for ****s sake??!

How could he preach about religion and morals, then (after a fight) go to a hotel and have sex with a BUNCH of whores waiting for him each in a different room while being married??

The truth is that Ali's life shows that what he stood for in the first place was FAME and all the rest disperses in a shadow of that. He succeeded in 'white man's dirty game (I mean gaining fame for whatever the price)' yet he has a nerve to call Joe an uncle Tom. A lot of guys on this site are like sheep following moronic, doped media image.

 

Very true. I met a man who was old enough to watch the Fight of the Century live, and he thought Frazier was actually bigger than Ali. MA is extremely glorified by people.

 

Ive always hated Ali. Truly an awful human being. Glad Larry Holmes beat the ****ing **** out of him.
