Yes, it is very possible that Ali was No.1 in psychological warfare.
But that didn't help him at all in his fights with Frazier. Mohammad Ali had to beat Frazier IN THE RING. Regardless of psychological warfare. Frazier was resistant to it. Frazier told him in Manila (during the fight): "You are not a real champion".

Trash talking is when you use vulgar words to hurt your opponent dignity. It doesnt seem to me Ali offended someone during his career excluded Frazier when he said he was ugly, even if it was only one of his many dramas. Ali was too smart to hurt someone's soul with his words.
