I wonder if he will pass the drugs test  , no seriously if the guy is responding this way it speaks volumes for his confidence , the UFC can pay Overeem some good money as one of the top tier HW's in the organisation and Overeem will be happy with that , i mean that is after all the reason why he isnt already in the UFC , if SF or the UFC would pay what K1 pays Overeem , it would be a done deal im presuming !!

If Overeem wins the GP it sets up a genuine Heavyweight Mega Fight which will generate a lot of revenue , and it will put Overeem in a position to negotiate a sizeable contract with the UFC , presuming he makes the switch .

After mulling it over, I'll definitely stick with SF through the end of the HW Grand Prix...but after that I might be done with the sport altogether. :conf DREAM is dying, and Bellator by itself can't compete with Zuffa and will probably be another casualty before long (even though Bjorn Rebney seems to have a lot of the same character qualities and determination as Scott Coker does...er, did).

Hopefully 'Reem continues to split his focus between MMA and K1 so I can continue to follow him in the latter. :good

****, I don't even want to think about that possibility! :scaredas:

If Overeem winds up signing with the UFC (regardless of tournament outcome) and K1 does collapse, I'll never see him again.

Boxing will be my only combat sport.

People talk about how bad "monopolies" are and they have pros and cons but having most of the best fighters all fighting each other certainly outways the cons for me. Just imagines some of the cards that are possible now.

I wouldn't even have a problem with it being a monopoly..if it was any other organization heading the monopoly up. :yep

I just don't care for the product Zuffa puts out, most of the time. :conf

K-1's dead. Overeem may eventually sign with the UFC and retire there. Which is good news as he'll wreck alot of the flotsam there and UFC fans will have a new guy to cheer lead about.

And? Is it really that difficult to understand someone else's opinion? I don't like the UFC's "version" of MMA. Its ECW on steroids without the pageantry. Thats my perspective and prerogative. You cannot insinuate that anyone else is any less of a fan just because they don't agree with you.
