Alistair Overeem vs Frank Mir

Mir would get a bigger beating then he recieved from Vera.

 

Before the Sonnen fight everyone said Filho would win, little did they know Filho had lost his ****ing mind and would spend most of the fight chatting to his invisible friend outside the cage.

Nogueira had a staph infection in the build up to the fight, confirmed by Dana White, looked fat and out of shape and had zero mobility from the start. The guy was a zombie and, in that kind of shape, was cannon fodder for any half decent fighter.

Whether Frank Mir's newfound striking skills will stand up to scrutiny when he fights someone with a pulse remains to be seen.

 

I like that you somehow see Mir of today the same as the one from 2006. The work ethic alone should tell you differently. You're probably still mad Mir kicked Minotauro's ass:yep

 

Oh so that's the new excuse huh? The staph infection. First everyone says NOG is old, now you're excuse is the staph infection. So Mir didn't just simply beat someone because he was the better man that night, he won because most said NOG was old and you're excuse is the staph infection. So let me get this straight, if Mir subs Lesnar again, what's gonna be the excuse then? The same one from the first time? Lesnar didn't have enough experience? Then what? Mirko's back in the UFC, Mir should fight Cro Cop. Mir subs Cro Cop, then what? Mirko doesn't have a ground game?:roll:

Nog looked like **** in all his UFC fights, he nearly got ktfo by Herring, someone who he dominated in their prior fights, he got ****ed up by Sylvia till he subbed him and he looked even worse vs. Mir.

Old Nog is slow, has no defense and his takedowns are not good enough to make it a grappling match.

Mir looks to have improved his striking and conditioning and that's all nice and dandy, but the fight vs. Nog is not evidence that Mir is a great fighter, because Nog is shot as ****.

 

As long as you didn't write some bull**** saying Lesnar is a great fighter. I'm cool with your opinion.

Overeem wins this by stoppage. Mir has been riding his luck ALOT lately. Dont be fooled by his flattering win over Nog or his knee bar vs Lesnar.
