Your pushing china chinned Overeem as anything not me - he had a good run years ago however I think he is a steroid cheat who also got a weak K-1 era, have always thought he is a steroid cheat and dislike steroid cheats given I work in the sport. I have said it before - your comprehension is ****.

Put actual prime HW champs like Aerts, Hoost, etc and a boxer in a stand up match whose gonna win? Show me a boxer who has stepped into a Muay Thai ring and done anything.:rofl

In the past heard people voice the the same silly ideas as you in the gym - not once did it ever work in their favour. Don't see it these days except from trolls on forums as the general public and more importantly the sports participants are far more educated. :deal

 

You're quoting top 10 fighters when they were prime. What top 10 boxer is going to fight in kickboxing for 20k? Does glory even pay that much? Im not talking about winning multiple fights for the 100k.

 

But here is a prime example. Overeem a K-1 World Grand Prix Champ. Before the company folded. Was knocked out in less than one round by a slow, old Ben Rothwell using terrible boxing.

But still according to you. These K-1 fighters some of which lost to Overeem beat a top 10 heavyweight.

Andrei Arlovski who is notoriously chinny himself, brutally KO'd Overeem conqueror Antonio Silva last night :rofl

 

Overeem was never really a great kickboxer, he was just juiced to the gills and extremely powerful.. If you look at the GP line up, he had the easiest bracket of the night, his hardest fight was actually in the quarter finals against Tyrone Spong, he barely got by. In the semis he fought Gokhan Saki who had sustained a broken arm in a war with Daniel Ghita, despite that Saki actually knocked Overeem down, and gave a decent account of himself before he was unable to continue because of his badly broken arm... In the final Overeem fought Aerts, who was old, and had taken a beating against Schilt...... Aerts was done and didn't even want to fight in the finals, but his team GG(which was also Overeems team at the time) forced him to go out. It would have been much better if an alternate replaced him, but instead Overeem who was practically fresh fought a battered, and bloodied Aerts... It was a sad display. Had Overeem fought a fresh Schilt, Saki, or Ghita he would have not won the GP. He lucked out by having the easier bracket.

 

Well you can pick apart anyone's record. Especially with kick boxing. Overeem still KO'd Badr Hari when Badr was top 2 in the world at the time of the fight.

K-1 HW's dont eat boxers alive. Only extremely biased people would believe that.

Juicing really is not a valid excuse. Japan did not test at all. And plenty of the fighters Overeem fought were juicing too. Like Badr in the second fight.
