Yep and interviewed him a few as well. Don't usually pick against a Brit ever, but he's a top guy and I hope he does it! :)

    Fair play.

What does he bring that will bother Burns? can he hurt him? obviously he's going up in weight for this. I seen clips...

I think he could prove to be surprisingly technical. Obviously, he hasn't fought at this level before, but he's boxed some decent operators and imposed his game on them. He is defo smaller, but has fought at this weight before and looked strong - so not sure how important that factor will be. It may be more reach as opposed to strength which ends up being the key, and how effectively Evensen gets inside...

Top fight though regardless of which way it goes, and anyone who thinks Burns is in with someone who doesn't belong in the ring with him here is badly mistaken. Both are respectful fighters too, so may the best man win! I'd just like to see Andreas do it because he's a really nice guy and I think it would mean a hell of a lot for the sport in Norway should he win.

    Good Post.

I think a lot of lads on here think he's a push over, he pushed Benoit Gaudet who isn't to bad a couple years back so i know he will present problems for Burns.

Yeah if he does win maybe Norway will see sense and look to host professional boxing.

Exactly, and he's come on leaps and bounds since then... His power's developed as shown by his last three stoppages and he's used to travelling because boxing's illegal in his home country haha! :D

    I can't wait for it!

From what i seen he's a aggressive come forward pressure fighter who looks to use jab to work way in, then tries to unload hooks to body and head and wear his man down. He feints and moves head a little bit as well so he's not just a brawler he boxes as well. Deano obviously can answer better.

He's pretty good in all ranges...It depends on what the tactics are and what he decides to do tomorrow.... In general though, he's not someone who'll stop people with one punch, but as the rounds progress can break people with pressure and as Mandanda said, body work.

Interesting we have seen that Burns can handle pressure over 12 rounds from Martinez though should be interesting to see what Evensen can offer to trouble Burns

Ya, I had an interview with Burns last night in my sleep and he's a nice guy to and he told me he was going to kick the **** out os Evensen he had big plans for him. lol

Lmao. I enjoy reading your interview with Ricky which you did in your sleep. Mine with Andreas can be read on Boxing Scene and the site of Boxing News, so there you go...

And no, I actually mean I would like Andreas to win because he's a nice guy and it would be great for the sport in his country - that's why I said it. Trust me, if I was just wanting a quick one over on the local bookies, I would have just said it straight.

If you think Burns will win, that's fine - everyone is entitled to their opinion, and if he does - fair play, he's beat a very live contender who is coming to win!

    Muchos lovos xxxx
