All aboard the "I HATE Joe Calzaghe" Express!!!!

I figure we can have fan threads for boxers, so why can we have a HATE thread for boxers?

No one I could think who deserved a HATE thread more is Slappy.

He was a con, a fraud and embarassment to boxing all rolled up into one. Him and Frank Warren totally manipulated the belt system and invented this fake image, an illusion, a mtyh of Slappy being some kind of great fighter and fooled an entire generation of uninformed fight fans into thinking that he is some kind of boxing great. Informed fight fans know that Slappy career was nothing more than a well orchatrised con-job. They made sure to keep the fights in Wales, away from cameras and the american boxing press. When true ATG challenged him to fight they made ridiculous demands and insisted the fight be in Wales while Calzaghe was a utter nobdy outside of the drunken bums who stumbled into his fights and ones who stumbled into the ring. Refs were paid off to stop the fights early and call the fight for Calzaghe. They kept as little information about Slappy from getting out and they gave their fans free booze to buy their loyalty. Calzaghe became a tourist trap for Cardiff, kind of like the Loch Ness Monster. "Come see the undefeated boxer", some toothless hag would yell from in front of whatever scum infested dive pub, where the brits would gather and swill their booze and maybe sell a child or two to buy some booze to take home. As they wait for Slappy to come out of the bathroom/dressing room for his next "title defense" against the World BO #1 contender, usually some hobo who happened to fall off the rail.
