Lets get this thing off the ground. A young, undefeated Aussie fighter, going into the heart of Germany to take on the champion. And he is a very very good hope at pulling it off. Pittman has all the tools stylistically to beat Sturm, who has certainly looked less then brilliant since the De la Hoya fight. I'm backing him 110%. Would be excellent to see him grab a legitimate peice of the title, and throw himself into the mix at 160, a division he can genuinely make some noise in. Lets go Pittman... YEOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!
YYEEEEEEOOOOOOOOW! I've been driving this train for a while now...or at least been a 1st class ticket holder.
I've only seen sparring videos of Pittman, but i like his style and he is physically impressive, from what i saw if he stays relaxed and busy he could beat anyone, he's an aussie so i'll be cheering for him and i don't think alot of Sturm. I hardly see or read anything on Pittman, he seems to be one of our best prospects so i don't understand it. If he stays in Europe it would be good for his career, they like his style of boxing over there, he could do it like Winky Wright did.
im on big time mstr...i saw jamie at the commenwealth games and was not only impressed with his fighting but as a bloke he seemed nice...i think sturm is in 4 a bit of trouble...come on jamie bring the belt back ...
He spoke just before, said he likes his chances being only the 2nd southpaw Sturm has fought. He seemed very confident, I don't think he can win a decision over there.
Jamie looked confident when interviewed tonight, i agree. Glad to see him gain some well earned exposure too.
