And to think I had to go through "ribgate" and an entire summer and still make excuses for this little **** while Brian Kenny had the f*cker pegged from the door back in June--------

The egg is on my face and that's the last time I ever make excuses for anyone under 160. "Come on Slip, the number one rule of Boxing is that 160 middleweight is how you view this game from the inside-out". That's like a quote from my old man and one I'll never forget going forward thanks to Uncle Roger's nephew :p

Mayweather puts Marquez down early and outboxes him to a clear UD.

    Here's hoping:good

Along with brother Rafael and Fernando Montiel, Juan Manuel is my favourite active fighter. Would love to see him pull this one off.

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I'd bump this gem. Just read on the Scene that Katsidis might be next. JMM said, '... I might have to defend my titles, and we have to respect that Michael Katsidis is the #1 mandatory challenger to fight for my titles.'

Bring it on, please!:bbb JMM stops a bloody Kats late in the FOTY:deal:woot.

JMM seemed set on a Pac rematch but I don't see that happening.

Katsidis-JMM is THE fight to make at 135. **** Khan.

JMM has old legs, it's a young, improved but possibly still vulnerable aggressive puncher Vs the old, graceful but tough as nails technician, classic styles clash, classic story, no.1 Vs no.2, FOTY!!!!

Bring it on, I've wanted this since Katsidis battered Mitchell. Both men have had fairly easy fights by their standards. Now let's get to the real stuff.

I'm sure HBO will push for this, guaranteed WAR :deal

Khan can shag off and fight light welter's. And we all know the Pac fight ain't happening.

I don't wanna see Marquez campaign at Light Welter until his last fight. If he can still make 135 for a few fights, Katsidis and Soto are not bad at all. Then, he can pick on the last man standing after the 140lbers have fought each other, or at least someone who is a feasible opponent for him.

Khan needs to fight someone his own size. It's better for him, JMM and the fans if Marquez fights Katsidis next.

HBO will not push for Katsidis v JMM. They'll push for Khan v JMM. In business terms for HBO it's a no brainer out the two.

I like anyone else want to see Khan fight legit 140lbrs but his team are going about things differently.

You think? Is Khan really that big in the states? I think Katsidis is a much easier sell, and he has a history of providing HBO with exciting fights.

There's a reason Juan Manuel turned down the fight before - he's simply too small, too slow and now too old to f*ck with Khan and i'm a JMM nuthugger. He trashes everything at 135 and should just focus on doing that, Katsidis will make him look great. He weighed in at 133 which just emphasises how laughable the whole fight with Mayweather was.....I hope he turns down the Khan fight again.

Perhaps Linares is the only one that could trouble Marquez (if he's campaigning at 135 permanently now) maybe Funeka too because of his size n awkwardness. Katsidis and Soto are tailor made for JMM. There's Petersen aswell but he'd probably be too inexperienced. And I don't rate Waluigi aka Guererro at all.

If Oscar wants it, HBO will push it.

Khan should fight Maidana and the winner of the hopefully signed and sealed Bradley vs Alexander fight.

Marquez vs Katsidis is a guaranteed barnburner.... but I'm not sure it happens next.
