Rhodes ain't playing, he's training like some insane crazy dude in prison with nothing but time to train and keep his own sanity.

Alvarez is a pampered brat, Rhodes is gonna do him!

Nah, can't see it. Rhodes is not the type of style that will beat Canelo.

Is the fight definitely on? I believe Alvarez is packing some serious China.

The Spice Boy has redeemed himself to a point, but lets be honest Alvarez is a level a bit better than anything Rhodes has beat.

It would take a career best performance to beat Alvarez, and I simply cannot see that happening, at my; I mean, his age!!!

That said, I would love to eat lashings of humble pie.

I see Rhodes surprising a lot of people, but he will need to fight the fight of his life to do it.

they'll look at his record and say "pffft, this guy got beat by Gary Lockett!!" and underestimate him to a dangerous degree.

Their records are similar, boxed the same number of rounds against modest opposition, oh but Alvarez is 20 so that might help him a tad.

To be honest i wouldnt be stunned if Ryan did it . He's a step up for Alvarez . Rhodes knows its his last chance of a world title and will be in the shape of his life . If Alvarez cant stop a fairly mediocre WW in Hatton (ok heat and humidity may play a factor ) he wont stop Rhodes . I cant help thinking Golden boy are looking at the record rather than the fighter . Alvarez is slow and easy to hit and if he lets Rhodes hit him as much as Hatton did he's going to have problems .
Alvarez should win but should and did are two different things.

Just because Alvarez isn't the future ATG many were saying he would be, he is a damn good boxer and a level above Rhodes.

I wish Rhodes the very best, but Alvarez is far closer to world level than Rhodes is. Let's not forget the Jamie Moore that he went to war with was in all likelyhood damaged goods by that stage and that was the last genuine Euro level opponent.

Rhodes will probably get the same treatment as Hatton if he can survive.
