All Aboard "The Super Joe Calzaghe Express"

I am on the Joe train :good but the way I have been picking fighters over the last few months Roy will win.....However....I think Joe will outwork Roy while Roy will stil look good getting beaten

Like Hmmm, I jumped on board after his win against Lacy, although I was going for Kessler when he fought him, but I'm a big Kessler fan and respected the fact that he went to Calzaghe's backyard to take on the more experienced fighter.

I'll be going for Joe in this one, but at the same time I don't really have any hatred of such for Jones.

I know he'll probably retire after this, and there wouldn't be much as marketable a fight as it deserves, but I'd love to see Calzaghe take on Dawson next.
I get the feeling that like the Kessler fight, it wont be truely appreciated by fans until afterwards when people will see what Dawson achieves.
...If Joe beats him that is.

I respect Calzaghe for what he is, but i'm not jumping the Calgazhe express,
he lost to Hopkins imo. So may the best man win!

There's always someone else. Dawson is not a name and I doubt there'd be enough bucks to entice him.

There will always be someone else, and although Dawson does look promising (I still have question marks over him though), he isn't drawing in enough public attention to make this fight worthwhile for Joe.

Thats why I'll have no issues if Joe doesn't take it, although I'm sure the general forum will see it differently. :yep

If Joe fights one more time then it HAS TO BE CHAD no doubt about it.

Like Kellerman said when comparing Lewis retirement to Joes.

There was noone else for Lewis to fight where as it's different for Joe, there is a fighter who holds a few belts is young, hungry and in his prime....soooo....if Joe doesnt retire and doesnt fight Chad then...what will people say. A good pt if i dont say so myself

 

It was Pavlik that he HAD to fight up until 14 days ago... I wouldn't mind seeing Dawson fight Johnson again.

 

been following Joe for a while as I have an Italian background so my old man has always followed him coz of his similiar background ..i loved on the 24/7 show ..Enzo speaking Italian ..saying in Italian " My boy will whip your black ass " ...showed the two are real charachters

 

Not from people in the know, big difference is that Pav would have had to bring his one dimension up a few weight divisions to fight. Dawson is natural at this weight in his prime with a few belts. There is no other choice if it is not Dawson.

 

If he does fight again, I believe it'll be a Hopkins rematch in Cardiff.
It'd generate more money than a Dawson fight at this point in fight, and would be an easier fight for Joe as well.
