It seems that Jan Zaveck breaking up with long-time manager Ulf Steinforth because he just does not manage to find an interesting match in the U.S.. Zaveck would like to fight top guys in the division while Ulf would like to pack 13 000 arena in Slovenia and make Jan fight bums... Smart decision by Zaveck!

I think he will find it hard to get good fights in the US. His only fight there was against Berto, where he was brought over as what was expected to be an easy title victory for Berto. The fact that he gave Berto a tough fight and may have won without the cut gives him even less chance of being brought back to the States. Plus he is 36 now, and has no title. The only way I can see him getting big fights in the States is if he has a belt. He's highly ranked by the IBF and WBO, so hopefully he can secure a mandatory position.

Well, you might be right but then again noone wants to see him fight bums...he wants to fight on american soil. He defenetly can get a good undercard fight with one of american WWs that are coming up..

Both former IBF WW champs R.Bailey and Jan Zaveck are in the middle of negotiating for possible fight in USA in end of January or star of February 2013.

I guess its even better that Zaveck got Thurman then Bailey...i see decision win by Zaveck...then i can see Bradley ducking him..hell he would duck Thurman too.

Very hyped for this saturday fight of our national hero Dejan Zavec (Jan Zaveck) and Keith "one time" Thurman. Zaveck saying he is in form of his life and that he will sure use his experiance over young but promising fighter like Thurman.

Was watching Thurman vs Quintana and I dont know why people are so hyped over that win. Quintana sure didnt look 100% in the fight and looked like he came just to take money which is always bad when fighting young hungry lion what Thurman is.

Zaveck is older but still hungry lion as he knows that only win over Keith bringing him title hope again...so we have two hungry guys that knows that only win brings next level and that is title shot. Im expecting war in ring...and let the best man win.

Thurman is an american hype job! It would be very very hard to win on cards...
I hope Zaveck wins this he deserves it more than Thurman (who still has time:D)
