Did some research and this guy is ranked 15th on IBF WW list. Still belive Zaveck should KO him in 5 rounds as in videos he looks much slower then Zaveck.
Dalgado said in interviews that he want to bring title where it belongs..back to USA! :rofl

i still belive vs. Delgado is just a "must" fight before something bigger in 2011. Zaveck in every interview said that he wants to box with the best in his division...hope he gets the chance in USA next time against top name (but first Delgado...).

Wasnt Jones and Brook supposed to be an eliminator for Zavek ???

Who is there for Zavek to fight who's worth a mention ?? , Cotto , Mosley , Pacquiao , Berto are all out !!!

Cintron , Collazo , Margarito , Williams , Clottey are all at 54 now ...........

Easy win for Zaveck against Delgado in 5th round by KO. After the fight Zaveck wasn`t really satisfied with his performance as he admit that made some mistake during the fight. The American was down twice in round 2 already and got in round 5 a big cut under the eye...

I hope finally Zaveck get a chance to fight top fighters from USA....they said this was a "green card" for him.

Delgado will for sure had a nice story to tell his grandchildren about a chance to fight for the title...

"Zaveck surprised me, especially with very strong shocks, since he fought as a heavyweight. Consequently, utmost respect for him. In the match I wanted to do more with my feet, but after the second round my legs almost no longer obeyed. I really have a strong impact, the one of the strongest in its category, in addition, has an excellent defense, "said Delgado about Zaveck, who sees the future in the ring with the best:" He is very strong, certainly deserves a fight against the best. "

Pa se eden ... Zdravo fantje:))
just came back from the fight. Zavec destroyed him easy, the first real counter right hand he threw over the left jab scored a knock down in the 2nd round. He knocked him down again in the 2nd but then I think he stayed back a little like he didn't want to end it there so he took the guy a few more rounds till he decided to finish the fight in the 5th.

Zavec should fight Margarito... now that's a fight of the year candidate!!!

    Spregledal sem tvoj post

Since Pac and May are not available i would recommend Berto for unification ( I heard it's been on the table of hbo but denied) or Paul Williams in his comback fight. That being said, Dejan needs to clear his mandatory now, who we still don't know. Maybe IBF will give him a pass if he fights very quickly, before they determine who will that be (Randall or Ouali).

I think he has a fair chance against Williams and Berto at 147. Both come to fight and have bad defenses.

Congratulations to my countryman who created a great atmosphere in Stožice yesterday. It was not sold out but the 10000 people present made up for it :happy

If Zaveck really wants a "big" fight, his only real shot right now is to put his belt on the line against a comebacking Paul Williams. If Williams is serious about coming back to Welterweight he might value that belt and be willing to give Zaveck the shot. Otherwise, Zaveck's not going to get a big fight without beating some semi-notable competition first away from home. Alfonso Gomez, Kell Brook, and Mike Jones would qualify along those lines, for example.
