Canelo is going to maul Lara, I reckon. Lara isn't as slick as he's often made out on here. Seems to be the case with a lot of Cuban fighters, really. Angulo put him on his back twice.
Can't see it. Personally think Canelo is the quicker, more aggressive fighter. Lara won't be able to live with him. Might be wrong, of course, looking forward to the fight! :good
Nope Canelo is an unreal boxer, but Lara has the better technique smoother smarter and faster, punches harder aswell! canelo punches hard too, but theres a reason the cubans are the best, they have the most technique and thats really all that matters in boxing, if u watch the all access Lara is looking great watch him on the pads and bag
Canelo punches way harder than Lara and he is bigger. Lara will get tagged with the right hand, hurt a couple of times and lose a clear decision.
Lara has no chance to hear the bell to start the 12th. His is going to b prove to be a huge huge mismatch. Canelo is just way better at everything, way better combos, better power, way better chin, better defense. Lara will get beat up worse than sm did couple weeks ago. Mismatch, epic mismatch
Just because you want to watch Mayweather 24/7 doesn't mean he's more exciting. All Access always sucks. The only good one so far has been Angulo's story. The rest have been absolute ****. HBO's 24/7 is just so much better.
Wow I think you exaggerate here. Lara is a top player at 154. He is decorated amateur boxer that has fought pretty much the best possible opposition at 154 with the exception of Kirkland and Canelo. He fought Trout, Molina, Williams and Angulo. He belongs in the same ring but he ain't going to win in my humble opinion.
For obvious reasons they can't show the in-depth training and strategy before the fight. I wish they'd release a couple of episodes post fight that showed what each team was concentrating on in training and how it played out in the ring. You know, for the hard core fans. That said, it was a decently good episode. Nice to see some (semi) new blood on these things.
I wonder how many top cuban boxers that lara talks about standing on street corners drunk could have been champs in pro boxing if they defected? I bet there are a few rigos and gamboas that never left cuba and instead drink their sorrows away thinking about how they could have been somebody.
Canelo wins this, but Canelo has never been a pressure fighter the kid can box and will continue to do so.
