All bias aside, do you think people are being way too harsh on Deontay Wilder?

Plenty of his interview he is still talking rubbish. And i will never forget the crap talk about how he want a body on his record, and he is saying that for long, long time and not in the presser.
So zero respect for the big dosser !!!

I think people are too harsh. Especially with this "heavy outfit" jokes. It was Jay Deas who was asked wether something was wrong with Wilder and he said [...] bla bla bla I know he came to the ring in a very very like the the outfit was very heavy and ah I don't know if that had to do with it or if if you know Tyson's a lot of weight to be putting on you aswell. Ah I don't know, I don't know exactly bla bla [...].

It was one of these random answers you give when you don't really want to go into something without reflecting things. Wilder didn't even know what Jay Deas was saying and right now everyone makes Wilder look ridiculous for something he may never have intended to say. lol

But when it comes to the performance in the ring, Fury wiped the floor with Wilder. After all that has been said, Wilder will go straight on the cuts on Fury's eye, Fury's been busy with WWE, Fury's nervous, Fury has pillow fisted hands, Wilder comes better in rematches...

Fury was very cool, said he would gain weight, come to the ring and knock wilder out. And what he did is, he gained weight, he came to the ring and knocked Wilder out. He wiped the floor with him, he overran him, didn't give him a glimpse of a chance, took the 2-3 right hands without blinking and beat him up like a schoolbully. So yeah, Wilder was humiliated for being the baddest man on the planet. It was a shocking performance. It's just that people are putting more weight on the excuses than on the skills, because Wilder's skills have been questioned all over his career.

Tyson vs Quick Tillis? You mean Buster Douglas?

Anyway, Wilder isn't the type to bounce back. His whole game was built on a perception of invincibility. Now that that bubble's been burst Wilder is going to mentally implode, and he doesn't have the humbleness, clearness of insight or intelligence to make the kind of changes necessary to come back from defeat. I actually give him some credit for wanting to get right back in there against Fury, but I think that'll be his last fight.

You maybe miss it by Wilder by himself said that for the costume.
    The other excuses he use:
    The costume
    The referee
Fury didn`t hurt him at all
    Illegal punches
He was having all kind of issue(when before the match the big dummy said he is in the best shape of his life)
Didn`t give credit to Fury as well
Decided to put the blame on his coach for throwing the towel, and that he was a blq, blq, blq cry baby.

So before posting anything, read the FACTS first.

They are giving him a really hard time. But he's definitely not helping himself.

Deontay Wilder fights every fight as if it is his last fight, you are not going to step in the ring vs the Hardest Puncher in boxing history....So its easy for you to downplay the big risk Tyson Fury is taking.

As far as the actual loss is concerned he deserves credit for taking his beating & still trying to win. He deserves nothing but contempt for the ridiculous excuses that followed, & that video he posted the other day is absolute cringe. If he'd kept his mouth shut his stock may have risen, now he's just a figure of ridicule.

Stilling clinging onto the faux long count? You miss the real significance of round 12 of the first fight; that Fury got up and for most of the following two minutes put Wilder on the back foot and discovered he can't box when pressured.

Those two minutes became the blue print for the rematch.

But hey, you stick to watching salty YouTube uploads and compiling statistics which are the numerical equivalence of a word salad...

Im surprised Wilder didn't make an excuse out of Fury hands being soaked in petrol. It would have been more valid and a lot more entertaining.

Maybe Wilder should consider rubbing gasoline on his chin and ears for the rematch. :confundio:

I was always said Fury was at about 60% in the first fight, that was still the guy that totally out boxed Wilder and rose from the canvas after taking his best one two. A Fury at nearer 100% was always taking him to the cleaners.

Its 10 yrs too late mate, his body and muscle memory is firmly set at 35. He'll gas throwing more, he should've done what every fighter did in the past, RUN..He used to joke about how it was stupid to run to get in to shape, his legs would've been far stronger. What you listed is all true, its just way to late imo

Not really. His fans were way out there, and he's making excuses. Many saw him for what he turned out to be. Wilder himself seems like a fine man outride the ring

I think that was poor match making in Wilders favour more than him doing extremely well
