Like him or not the reality is I don't see anybody out there beating this guy he learned to use his massive size give some credit to Emmanuel teaching him to fight tall. Very simple he will jab you to death dropping the hammer once in a while and the most important thing fighting on his own pace without risking too much. I agreed he is not the most exciting out there but the most effective.

    Why?

To throw an upper cut..and I've seen him do so..a long time ago, the other fighter ahs to get in close.

Wlad does have a fine classic hook.

Generally a hook is slower than a fast powerful jab.

Vittili, uses the power jab more than his brother...but Wlad has that punch, ...also called a straight left, thrown with the forward step.

Wald and his Brother both would be giving up reach advantage to turn into hookers.

Size and style makes a fight...if you have lots of total reach...span and height,......why not box...hit and not be hit?

Perhaps should Arolia gets to one of them they will hook him, because he'd not expect it...he is @thier size, right?

...And if he had four arms he'd be Goro.

What is your point? He fights the way he does, and it works as part of the larger system.

Obviously, much like your hero David Haye, you have talked yourself into a huge mess. Now, also much like your hero David Haye, it would be smart for you to tuck your tail between your legs and run away from this conversation.:good

Are you still here lawnmower man.
And for the record im not a huge fan of Haye and your boy would probably beat him but Haye would take him deeper than he has ever been before.
All i want to see is Wlad fight someone with a pulse who comes to fight even if he does lose.
Now stop worrying about what i have in my pocket because i cant prove it and neither can you. You will just have to take my word for it. Unless you want to come to my house.?:yep

You could go through the history books and there is no one but probably just Lewis who could threaten Wlad. Everyone else would be handled in a convincing manner, kept at range and pulverized via a systematic beatdown. This is not a knock on the greats, it's just that WK has raised the bar to a new level, he has changed the game. as did Ali and Tyson who were impossible acts to follow.

But there will surely come the day when someone will surpass Klitschko with a new innovative and revolutionary dominating style. But right now you gotta give Klitschko his due, he's making the art of prizefighting - the most violent and difficult sport on earth - look ridiculously easy.

as for saying hayefaker would have a chance or take WK deep? that's utter nonsense. hayefaker got psyched out by Wlad and took himself out of the fight. He knows he has no chance. Nobody has a chance now.

to clarify, you're saying that Wlad would only be challenged by Lewis?

This is pushing the issue a bit far. Styles make fights and every fighter has a kryptonite. I believe Tyson would have been such for young Klitschko. A short bob and weaver with rapidfire combinations and serious punching power. The evasive techniques of a young Tyson surely would have presented problems.

Wlad's performace wasn't good at all.

He was the VASTLY physically superior specimen and the boxing world is meant to be impressed with 1000 jabs and a few right hands? Big deal, you can see any amateur do that - it's just they won't be as physically gifted as Wlad.

They didn't fight in an era as shitty as this one, they Had ATGs like Holyfield, Louis, Tyson, dempsey & Holmes to deal with, BTW Wlad was sparked by 3 nobodies so I think you should remove your head from his ass. 1 last thing Lewis was much better than Wlad.

Tyson was a handful no doubt. But look at the Ferguson fight which they showed yesterday. Ferguson had no footwork and stood there like a human heavy bag to be hit. WK would pick Tyson off as he tried to get in. Chagaev, 4 inches taller than Tyson, had head movement too, he tried like hell to move his head but still got hit over and over and over. No doubt Tyson was amazing, but we saw the prime Tyson always had problems with big guys like Tillis, Bonecrusher, Tucker, Lewis, even 38 yr old Holmes for 3 rds. Tyson himself admitted he always had trouble with big guys, he said this to Ibragimov after Sultan lost to WK.

This version of Klitschko has the movement, reflexes, phsyical strength, the non stop jab and the lethal right to hold off and eventually nuetralize and discourage a 1988 Tyson.
