Wow,what a fight.FOTY candidate in an awesome atmosphere.

Pascal had a good gameplan,he followed it for the most part,to all the people that doubted his chin even after Froch I think they don't know,or his focus and skills.
I think he should stay at LHW and he could do something.

Seconded. I'm a new Pascal fan, even more than after the Froch match. Terrific fight, by both guys.

Good stuff man.:good Both men are a credit to the sport and I would like to see a rematch down the road. Pascal fought a good fight but at times too cocky against a dangerous guy like the shark. Diaconu is a warrior for continuing with that broken cheek bone very painful. Hopefully he'll be back and not be out too long for it.

Well at least Diaconu won a fan.

At least this way he should get another semidecent big fight again on tv.Maybe Mack or somebody like that. But after a tune-up.

I thought he showed a much better stamina than anybody expected and took tremendous punishemnt.

He wa lucky the injury came late in the fight.

He will be back,he just had a new kid so that's another mouth to feed altough I'm not sure if the rematch clause should be activated.

I agree I expected him to fade after round 8 or so. He fooled me he came into this fight in great shape.

Yea he showed a lot of heart. He's slow but tough as hell and anyone not appreciating that is no true fight fan and ought to cheer for Davis Haye or something.

Carl Froch owns this guy. Froch has already outboxed him.

He said he is and looked in great shape and came in the lightest in 7 years and he fought decentish I'd say.

I don't think he's that slow,it's just Pascal is so fast.

It's just Pascal is so much faster and is growing as a boxer at 26 and he will be only better. This is the first fight where he was concentrated all the way and followed the gamplen.

I think a fight with a guy like Mack would be a better move.We will see.
Obviously a rematch will happen if they agree.

Both guys (especially) Diaconu should get credit for clearly being in the shape of their lives for this fight. I mean both guys looked like they could have gone on for another 40 minutes if the twelth round bell hadn't sounded. And that was after a fast paced war.
