Everything else with Manny set aside. All the legal troubles set aside. Any current lawsuits set aside, ONE THING IS FOR SURE-FLOYD NEEDA GET BACK IN THE RING ASAP...

He's getting caught up in some legal issues which he is responsible for. Situations going on outside the ring CAN AND EVENTUALLY WILL EFFECT A FIGHTER INSIDE THE RING.

I believe Floyd didn't plan on fighting Pac till next year and he figured he would chill and run his mouth for a while...

BUT with all the recent events Floyd needs to get back into the ring ASAP...He needs 1 of 3 types of opponents IMO...

    A. A top 10 lb 4 lb fighter..Floyd has fought top 10 lb 4 lb fighters in his last 3 fights...finding a fourth and fighting him wouldn't be a bad idea....problem is Martinez and Williams are the only 2 fighters near his weight division in the top 10 that he hasn't fought or that isn't fighting Antonio Margarito...Jmm hold the 3 spot while Shane is at 5...personally i got Martinez 4 and PW 6

    B. Fight a top 10 147lb fighter..berto might be a good idea at this point

    C. Fight a top 10 154lb fighter...(martinez and PW cover this along with a top 10 lb 4 lb)

What I'm saying is he needs to get in the ring asap and back to what he knows best if he wants to continue the streak he got going...if he doesn't I think he could fall off the top

I believe A berto, Collazo, even a Timothy Bradley might be a good fight to take right now...Martinez would be special at MW and something he could add that would give him a lot of credit...

    Thoughts on it?

Who the **** cares, if he doesn't fight Pac, I'm not interested. He might as well fight his wife/ex whatever she is a 2nd time for all I care...

Devon Alexander, Tim Bradley, or Andre Berto are the only fights I'd want to see at welterweight. All he would need to do to win Fighter of the Year this year would be to fight and beat an Andriy Kotelnik at 147 or Cornelius Bundrage for the 154 IBF belt in December.

Nanny? Is that supposed to be funny? Like, Floyd Gayweather is a really immature lame insult... But Nanny?

Nanny is right up there with Cottoe on the list of really bad attempts at clever insults on the east side boxing forums...

People on this forum need to either step their game up or learn to be more civil; because, for the most part, the insults around here are horrifically weak...

Yea somebody hungry... Floyd got alot of **** going on at the moment and it will be really easy to lose that focus... Alot of the best fighters lose their edge in these types of situations...

If he plans on fighting Pac next year he can't afford to lose anything from his game.. Stay busy, I'd like Bradley but i doubt it brings anything to the table for Floyd..

Little one? Wouldn't you be the little one since you have a child's sense of humor?

Also, I never said Xylocaine (not Xydocaine) was a PED. The punch all day thing comes from the fact that it freezes his hands, allowing him to punch without fear of injuring them (or at least feeling the injury).

Simple concepts lost on a simple person...

:huh Bradley? Fight another ****in JrWW at WW?

Berto? A guys who STILL hasn't proven much at WW, best win is over Colloza...who BTW.. A guy who's merely a bottom 10 contender? :-(

NONE of those are fights Floyd should take. Paul Williams, Sergio Martinez, or Pac are the only fights he should look at.

He needs to fight Manny Pac but I strongly agree that he should have never retired when the 147 division was at it's best in years.

I am with you; Floyd has to fight a credible opponent next...

Collazo is a terrible option, I would rather he fight no one. Bradley is a really good fighter, but unless Floyd is going to fight him at 140 than I don't want to see it. Berto would be another easy payday for Mayweather; he just isn't good enough to fight on that level (at least not yet).

Mayweather has to fight Williams, Martinez or Pac. I would also accept a Cotto match, but only because I am such a huge Cotto fan...
