    Daniyar Yeleussinov, Olympic Champion, World Amateur Champion and two times AIBA boxer of the year is turning pro on the Danny Jacobs undecard, he is the last of the 2016 Olympic medalists at welterweight that are turning pro, joining Mohammed Rabii, Shakram Giyasov and Souleymane Cissokho.

    Rabii is 4-0 3 KO's fighting next on March 24th in France, Cissokho is 4-0 4 KO's fighting this saturday in the undercard of Brian Castaño in France, Giyasov is training in Las Vegas, he is turning pro this saturday in a card of Real Deal Boxing promoted by Evander Holyfield.

    Eimantas Stanionis and Josh Kelly are also 2016 Olympians at welterweight that are looking great so far, Stanionis also fights this weekend in the undercard of Garcia vs Lipinets, he is 4-0 3 KO's so far and Kelly is fighting Molina in the Joshua vs Parker undercard.

    Plus coming up at welterweight is Kavaliauskas, Shelestyuk, Clayton from the 2012 Olympics, plus Butaev, Besputin, Golub, Lubkovich, Bohachuk,

    Welterweight is gonna be real strong.

    Noooo, would American TV really boycott a Muslim welterweight from Uzbekistan with 42 letters in his name who doesn't speak English? I mean the money-making opportunities there are limitless!

    Lol you do have a point. Boxing isn't a meritocracy, its who os the most marketable. Now if he started sparking guys out and looked amazing why not put him on TV.

    Or he could play like the villain in wrestling

    That's exactly it. Boxing like everything else depends on consumers. If consumers are not interested in your product it doesn't sell. Simple as that.
