    Dude is so badass, even the 'elite' champs don't want that work. So badass that Canelo would lay down the coveted WBC belt at his feet. When you get two belts simply from other champs 'quitting' before getting into negotiations, you must be a bad mo-fo.

    Mexicans mostly accepted his red hair, but no way in hell they accept a cowardly move like this. Waiting for the inevitable harsh comments from Marquez, Chavez, Barrera and Morales on their fellow 'Mexican'.

    And they didn't when Rubio shamefully quit in the ring without even being hurt?

    He did the right thing IMO.

    It was a mismatch anyway. At least he freed the belt. He gave it back to the division it belongs.

    It was a nice thing to do. Now Golovkin can fight more worthy opponents, like Chris Eubank jr, Billy Joe Saunders, Daniel Jacobs.
