First of all no it wasn't domination

at the time of the stoppage pac was either ahead by a point, all tied up, or a point for marquez depending on who you scored the 1st round for

yes pacquiao was winning the 6th round

but I believe that marquez really was never trying to win any rounds, I think his plan was to go for broke since the start. Either to land a big shot and force a tko ( I don't think even he expected a full blown k.o) or have some knockdowns to make up for the rounds he was losing.

Marquez looked slow, threw his shots hard and with reckless abandonment at times, and just didn't throw the combos we're accustomed to

I think, all in all, that post is representative of what happened.

How could it be, Marquez knocked him Down in a round and nearly had him out there. Also Marquez kept landing right handed bombs to the chin and body, no way was that close. It was dead even had pacquiao not been ktfo

5th round was a huge pac round. 6 was mostly all pac until the Ko. 1st round was clear for Pac, 4th was close.

So, yes if you give Marquez one of those rounds its only a point, but the momentum was clearly in Pac's favor as he was controlling the fight by the time it was stopped and Marquez looked like hes close to getting out there.

Nacho: We're very lucky Marquez, I thought Pacquiao was going to stop you. Your face didn't look to good and he was hitting you to easily .

Pac was ahead and controlling the fight. Juan face was a mess and Pac was hitting him at will. Everybody including you probably was thinking that Juan is going to be done in a round or two.

I watched the fight like 5 times, I'm still having a hard time trying to differentiate who won rounds 1, 2, 4, Manny wasn't dominating and this fight would have been another questionable decision

    My score
    Round 1 JMM
    Round 2 MP
    Round 3 JMM
    Round 4 JMM
    Round 5 MP
    Round 6......................................

Manny was by no means dominating even when he was flurring, JMM had a answer to every flurry and in the 5 rounds JMM was standing firm with his feet planted to the ground, when he was so called hurt, maybe buzzed, biut not on ***** stret, waiting for his time to come and occasionally knocking Manny back with vicious counters

JMM had to put him self in the danger zone to land that shot, early on JMM knew that was his money punch, near the end of the 4th with like 30 seconds you could see him setting up the punch and daring Manny to jump in recklessly

Manny just misjudged how hurt he though JMM was

:think These two gifs prompt a question I've been wondering about: which is a greater claim to winning a fight, knocking your opponent out or causing more facial damage? Using the criteria some people to used to justify the result of the third fight, I would say the second gif indicates Marquez is the clear loser here.

Was there this much crying when Jermaine Taylor lost to Froch while well ahead on the cards?

The point I'd like to make is, pac was winning, but Marquez plan all along was never to win the rounds, it was to bait Pacquiao and rip him with the mother of all counters

    which is what happened

no beautiful combinations in this fight on the part of JMM, just a bunch of right hand bombs which landed numerous times throughout the fight.
