Some people in the RBR were saying that Ortiz has to box and survive and will win a decision , i had my doubts about that one and there we go -3x 95-94 after 9 rounds.

Ortiz wasnt goin to win a decision , his best chance was to finish Wilder in the 8th but he was too gassed after he gave it all in the 7th.Other way was if Ortiz dropped Wilder couple of times but that didnt happen either and round 7th was probably scored 10-9 since no KD and also Ortiz got dropped once himself so 10-8 round , before that most people had Ortiz ahead 4-0

This.. People are forgetting that Ortiz was knocked down multiple times before the fight was stopped.

same reason Joshua wants to fight in the UK. the home fighter is assured every possible advantage.

The scorecards don't include the round of KO though surely?

Like the last round can't be scored a 10-7 because it didn't end?

    Edit -

    I was right.

Judges all had it 85-84, therefore scoring 9 full rounds.

So one 10-8 to Wilder for the 5th....
And a should be 10-8 to Ortiz in the 7th....

That's my take, too. Better to see Ortiz ended legimately than to see him robbed.

But I'll review later and see what kind of margin I get for Ortiz on an attentive scoring. I was thinking he had to be well ahead after 8, but he ebbed after that and 9-12 = four potential rounds for Wilder if he hadn't gotten the finish.

Everything you say here is correct. 9 rds scored. 1 kd to Wilder and a 10-8 rd to Ortiz with no kd. No need to reply to that Mvc. He is a newbie boxing fan who doesn't know how boxing works.

I had Ortiz up on the cards 99-92 after 9 rounds going into the 10th.

It was absolutely without a doubt that Ortiz won 1 , 2, 3, 4, and the 7th (BIG). So its impossible to put Wilder ahead after 9 rounds.

And people wonder why AJ doesnt want to travel to the USA, aside from the fact there is less money in it there.

    My card

    Ortiz- Wilder
    10-9
    10-9
    10-9
    10-9
    8-10
    10-9

    10-9
    10-9
    10-9 (98-92)
7-10 (Ortiz stopped after 2nd knock down) <105-102>
