All Of A Sudden Calzaghe Is Too High And Mighty.....

He'd ****ing murder Dawson...........Same old **** after a win for Joe the Yanks pull another "perfect" fighter out of the hat , yeh yeh just like Lacy. He beat Lacy , Kessler & then Hopkins who schooled Pav....just give the man his dues for ****s sake....!!!!!!

 

If he wants to fight a young fighter, he should fight someone PROVEN...not Dawson, just because he's American and overhyped.:hi:

But Dawson gets a **** load of praise and hype by beating 2 40 year olds, when he's 26.

At least the 40 yr olds Calzaghe fought were ATG's from his own Era and are only a few years older than himself.

Age argument isnt a sensible road to go down when campaining for Chad.

 

If he continues fighting he should fight Dawson even if it means it will be Lacy all over again.

What people don't get is even if you say "oh, Lacy was overrated", it took someone like Joe Calzaghe to expose him.

If Dawson is overrated, Calzaghe will expose him. If not, then Dawson will get credit.

That's how it works. You can't say if someone is underrated or overrated until they've been given a chance to prove it.

 

Are you shitting us? Calzaghe cleaned out his weight class, ruled it for almost 11 years and over 20 title defenses. He moved up and fought Hopkins after Hopkins beat Tarver, so don't go with this blown up middleweight garbage. In Jones he fought one of his contemporaries. Dawson isn't on of his contemporaries, and frankly should think about fighting guys like Diaconu, Cloud and Henry, people who have been chomping at the bit to take him on, one of them (Diaconu) who he ducked.

Calzaghe has paid his dues and deserves to retire if he so decides.

 

Why? Because he's younger? Mayweather beat better fighters and had a better career than Calzaghe. Why can't he retire?

dude are you stupid who the f++K is dawson? he barely made it against johnson, holding on for his dear life...the guys a bum...nobody even likes him ...dawson hasnt even come close to earning a fight with calzaghe.

 

I give him his dues for sure...he is #1 p4p right now...mayweather got the same treatment...every win brings out another guy he should beat...but lets be honest...dawson wouold be his stiffest test to date because of his youth size and speed...JC can do whatever he wants just like PBF but they will both be back..they are too damn good to turn down big money fights
