wow, what a turnaround! from boxings weakest era to the weakest of the last 40 years. of course we know that but to suggest that great fighters like pac, floyd and even jmm would not do or good in an era like the 90's or even 80's is somewhat discrediting their talents. that is why boxing fans and historians are saying they are already ALL TIME GREATS.

Floyd, JMM and Pac would do well for themselves in ANY era.

Would they be ranked as high as they are today, ofcourse the hell not.

 

why because they would lose to other great fighters? if they are fighting guys like arguello, duran and leonard and if they have made a good account of themselves, they would even look or rank better than where they are now. bottomline is they have to fight it out and not just rely in any fantasy predictions or else, barrera would have always beat pac or corrales would have always destroyed floyd.

Sorry dude, that still doesn't change the FACT that this is a very weak era.

Not too many of the world's best are intrigued by boxing anymore. There's a reason why they are LESS licensed boxers today than there was in previous eras.

Less boxers, means less out of the talent pool.

And all you have to do is watch the best today and compare that to the performance of the past and you can see what it's all about.

this is a weak era theres no doubt about it,all you have to do is compare the current pound for pound list with a list of say ten years ago to see that,but the only reason that troll is saying it is to diminish Pac's accomplishments cause hes butthurt since Pac made his beloved hero the fishnets wonder quit.

That being said Pac and some of the fighters Pac beat would be top fighters in any era.

No. The only reason I brought it up was because there are dumbasses who have recently started watching boxing and have made absurd claims about Pacquiao, which is fine, every dumbass is entitled to their OWN opinion, but when the disrespect other fighters for the sake of upping another, that is down right annoying, and when they spam this site I have been posting since 2002, it gets just a bit frustrating.
