Before we all get stereotyped, count me out of the Bunce loving Brit club.

British I may be, but I can't abide the man. Loud, limited and forever saying he has previously said 'X, Y and Z' and forecast the impending demise of a fighter - usually immediately after they have lost and no-one can ever remember or trace any semblance of him ever having said such a thing.

One of the reasons i pretty much stopped frequenting the Brit Forum;it turned into the Buncey appreciation forum.Obviously on each occasion ive said this most people have denied and refuted it because they themselves are members of the fan-club,so they cant very well agree with me.

The Ring is great and has been since I started collecting when Sugar was the editor in chief.

Just to add to my old post

1 The Ring title is the only (relatively) credible title out there.

2 Linear titles tell you who the REAL champ is, no Linear title, no champ

    3 The WBC gets respect?

4 Some trainers are better than others

5 P4P status and ranking, I see your point

    6 The IBO title.

I won't spend much time defending belts, but the WBC belt still means something to me. Of course they have and have had weak belt holders, but look at the competition. The WBO, whose champions are consistently mediocre, to be kind, the WBA, which has watered itself down into an almost complete joke, and the IBF, which is usually just the steppingstone onto the world stage.

I still care about the WBC belt more than others. I don't know, maybe I shouldn't...

I agree with you about the WBC. The WBC world title, and the NABF title have an incredible heretige behind them.
