I am more interested in what people think about his comment that Mayweather will not let Mosley fight Pacqiuao because Mayweather wants to give pacquiao that loss rather than Mosley. He compared it to Tito, Jones, and Hopkins situation.

I think Pac would fight anyone! The only reason he is fighting Cotto instead of Mosely is because Bob Arum makes money. If it was Mosely he has to share the promotion with Golden Boy, with Cotto he has it all to himself.

I think out of cotto, mayweather and mosley, I would most like to see him fight mayweather. I think he has a chance, plus I like to see guys 0 go, even fighters I like. IMO mosley is the one out of those three that would most likely beat pac and beat him handily. cotto is a natural lefty, I wonder if pac could force him to fight that way for a round or two

Richardson is talking alot of bull**** in this interview. He says that everyone is under-estimating Pacquiao, and then compares him to Pavlik. He also says its like RJJ, Hopkins, Tito. Well Pacquiao is better than Tito, and he is better than Hopkins too. I think Naz had his promotion hat on for this one. Don't forget that he also gets paid a cut of his fighters purse

Nope, the trilogy happened all at 130lbs. They never met at superbantam. It would have been even more explosive I suppose had it been so.

But really, his ascent across the weights is phenomenal, because he seems to be even getting better as he climbs these well-defined divisions.

Note that even though his body is naturally filling out, it doesn't always follow that a boxer will be as dominant as he was in the lower weights. One need only look at fighters who climbed up one division too high to realize being as good as one was in the lower weights is something not to sneeze at after all.

I don't think many fans underestimate pacman. He is a very, very good fighter for the fighters he faces. But when i watch Marquez vs pacman 1&2 and i see how he easily gets rocked by punches from lighter guys than true welterweights it worries me. PLEASE do not put a statue like oscar or a lightweight like hatton in the mix. Will cotto face his fastest opponent yet? HELL YEA, but pacman will face a fightetr who has fought big welterweights and besides the margarito fight after the 7th rd has held his own. I watch the 2005 cotto vs torres fight and see a cotto that got knocked down and still came back to crush a decent fighter and that was 140lbs.

Anything can happen in boxing but sometimes we need to look at the whole picture and not just the boxer himself. Bareera, hatton and a statue oscar is different than mosley, clottey and margarito for 6-7rds.

Hatton would have beat Torres at 140 and possibly by KO. you are all impressed by Cotto coming back from a Torres KD, but dismiss Hatton as "a lightweight"

When Nazim speeks, people better STFU and listen.

    He also said:

"Cotto keeps saying he's the bigger man, but that's going to be his downfall because if they make him suck down to 142-43, then his strength becomes his weakness because he is the bigger man and that is a lot of weight for him to cut. I always thought Cotto was draining down too much to make junior welterweight and that was the reason he used to get dropped so much."

He's talking out of his ass because all reports indicate that the fight will be happening at 144-145

Underestimating is what got Hatton knocked the **** out of his senses. Because Marquez made Pacquiao dance at the end of the second round in their rematch, when Marquez was a junior lightweight. Hatton was a full ten pounds higher competing as a light welterweight who has never lost in his natural division.

No his frame is actually slim. It's his huge leg muscles that take all that extra weight. It means he doesn't lose speed in his arms but adds power due to the weight in his legs.
