Ward low blows Hopkins head butts Floyd elbows and spoiling Klit hugging, padding the canvas Ali hugging, spoiling, extended arm All the best bend the rules
Veteran tactics. Fury was probably perfectly willing to lose a point here. Honestly, I never cared about elbows or overly aggressive control game. Low blows or eye thumbing is where I draw the line.
Pure determination incarnate. The heart and will to win by any means necessary. Very qustionable in some cases, but we have referees for a reason. One thing I did note, I didnt see any gum shield spitting out, just gritted teeth.
He also had a glove specially made where he could slip his fist into the wrist part and punch people with no padding, then slip the knuckles back into the glove at will. Team Fury code-named that glove the 'Transformer' and in the camps during certain spars Fury would ask if anyone had seen the Transformer movie. That would be code for the special gloves to be fitted so he could practice the switch move on sparring partners. A sparring partner called Trayvon Jarmell actually discovered this and questioned Team Fury after the spar where he was dropped a number of times and he was told not to come back, that he wasn't the level they needed. So make of that what you will.
Exactly. And like others have said, it's up to refs to determine where it crosses the line. Fury's just a much better, tougher fighter than Wilder, and people need to accept that and move on.
The irony of Dosser fans crying about rabbit punches could only be lost of fools as dumb as them. This content is protected Here's the bottle I filled up with all their baba tears after Baptism II and Baptism III. Delicious! This content is protected
How did you find that channel? lol I always found it weird how obsessed that Australian, Watcher guy was with Deontay Wilder. Every comments section, no matter the channel, there he was, fighting his man's corner. Nice to see he took the loss to Fury in his stride
Fury is just so much better than Wilder. They fought 30 rounds and Wilder only won about 5 total. Wilder also got his Glass Jaw Shattered by Fury who isn’t a puncher.
As Fritzie Zivic former welterweight champion is quoted as saying: "Being a dirty fighter is not the best of compliments, but then again, we have our own set of values. I'd give 'em the head, choke 'em, hit 'em in the balls ... you're fighting, not playing the piano, you know.'" It is down to the refs and authorities to police the situation, not the fighters themselves
Never liked dirty tactics, makes fights ugly and the fact that A side fighters always get away with it just shows how corrupt the sport is. I found nothing aesthetically pleasing about this fight. If these guys are at such a high level than they should just be relying on their skills to win. The rules are simple, just punch your opponent, damn near everything else is dirty. Refs should be harsher on all these blatant strategies.
