I find that Jones-Calzaghe fight hard to take serious. Parts of it were like a Exhibition bout.

 

I dont get any joy watching Calzaghe beat a shot fighter.

Jones would have destroyed Calzaghe when in his prime.

agreed:good green put him away in one, calzaghe could not do it whilst with one eye.
jones should retire seriously

 

1. I agree prime for prime RJJ wins.
2. Green is a cruiserweight. ,uch bigger man than either RJJ or Calzaghe.
3. Calzaghe carried RJJ and resisted the KO.

Calzaghe pissed me off tryin to showboat in that fight and clown Roy ... all he achieved is looking a bit of a special needs case.

**** it, I spent a fortune to go out there and watch it, the only real reason being that I wanted to see RJJ fight in person before he retired. The fight left me a bit dejected afterwards though .. never really got to see the real Jones fight in the end but it was better than nothing.

 

Calzaghe and Jones are not putting any snap in their punches in that fight? Especially Jones. He was punching like an old granny. What the hell were they doing? Was that a fix or what?

 

I absolutely have forgot he ever existed and so will everybody else in a few years. The single most overrated fighter in history who was finally exposed as a clown.
