Defeat Cotto, Cintron, Williams and Margarito LMAO the nerve of some ****in people never giving credit where credit is due PBF has 6 World Champions in 5 weight divisions I SAID 6 World Champions in 5 weight divisions he fought somebody to get 6 ****in belts. don't you think about time he finishes fighting 4 people possibly including rematches there would be 4 more contenders out there hungry and qualified enough to fight floyd. he will never retire according to the logic of imbeciles. just ****in admit you do not like him and you want to see him get beat at least once. instead of saying the same thing over and over again "he's not the best until he beats (fill in the blank) jesus christ 6 World Champions in 5 weight divisions....you can nerver satisfy some people. floyd please stick to your guns and don't let boxing retire you and retire from boxing....ok i' m done. :yep

All mayweather has to do before he retires is get one of those ***** made mma fighters to lace up some gloves and test their nuts in the boxing ring. Lol just kidding but it would really make me happy if someone put one of those ****heads in their place and prove that boxing is a real mans sport.

There's always gonna be naysayers. But PBF is already assured of being in the HOF even he losses to Cotto so why not fight him?? He's only 30 and in his prime. His hands didn't give him any problems against Hatton. Why do you want him to quit now??

Mayweather has to fight the best in his ****in' division before retiring. After that, he can do what he wants. Mayweather makes it seem like he's doing us all a favor by fighting, but he's a ****in boxer for christ sake, it's how he makes a living. :admin

With his victory over Hatton, he's already established himself as an ATG - but if he really wants to be regarded as an imortal, the best ever, as he often says, he SHOULD fight at least Cotto, and probably a couple other top guys too.

THEN he COULD reasonably mentioned in a conversation with guys like Sugar Ray Robinson and Ali. Mayweather gets held to these high standards because he likes to talk like he's the greatest ever, when he hasn't proven that. You wanted to be called the greatest ever? You want to be mentioned with Sugar Ray?? Take on all comers and beat 'em all.:yep

I just dont understand how he can call himself the best welterweight when there are four great contenders ready to face him and he hand picks a guy from a lower weight class for his title defense.

I think its obvious he is ducking these guys. He is an incredible boxer and I dont hate him, I just want him to take care of the contenders in his division instead of going after cash cows like Oscar or other hand picked opponents like Hatton.

How could anyone have expected hatton to win? He had to put on 7 pounds, and he is fighting the fastest and debatably the best fighter in boxing today. It doesnt add up. I just want him to put or shut up vs. cotto, williams, cintron, mosely or margarito.

I dont think that is so much to ask, to defend your title against legitimate contenders for your belt!?

Im not trying to take anything away from his win vs Hatton, its just that he is obviously avoiding tough fights. How can you be an ATG or call yourself the best when you do that? And how can you call yourself any more of a champion than Cotto, Williams or Cintron when they have belts too?

Mayweather doesnt have to do anything for a sport that has underappreciated him his entire career.

And after he beats Cotto, Margarito, Williams and Cintron, Mayweather will be 33 years old and people will say to him: now you have to beat Andre Berto, and don't forget to fight Cory Spinks also.

The list will never end because boxing always gets new fresh faces that emerge in the rankings.

Mayweather should fight Cotto and retire. Miguel Cotto is the only fight left.

Even Sugar Ray Robinson didn't fought everybody, he left some names untouched like Charley Burley, etc..

If he beats Cotto, I think Mayweather would get in the Top15..which is the elite of boxing history.

To be the greatest ever? That is much more difficult. Mayweather would have to beat Cotto, Williams, Spinks, Mosley and probably Arthur Abraham or Felix Sturm at 160. Won't happen.

    Four great contenders?

Only two: Cotto, who is a P4P fighter, and Paul Williams, who is young and new in the top level.

Cintron? :rofl :rofl :rofl The guy is just a fringe contender that was lucky to get a title shot against Mark "****ing" Suarez.

Margarito?  The guys only good win is Cintron. He was getting outboxed by Clottey and lost to Williams. He looks great in is fights against Shotgun Gomez and Golden Johnson, though. Even Carlos Baldomir has better wins than Margarito.

    That's what I'm saying.

Wilfred Benitez isn't even in the top 20 all time for most people, and he held a victory over Duran, three weight world champion, and remains the youngest world champion in boxing history. He has losses because he fought the likes of Hearns and Leonard. That's the only reason. Leonard has a loss in his prime because he fought Duran, just as Mayweather has no losses because he hasn't fought anyone nearly as good the names just mentioned.

My advice to Mayweather is be a boxer and fight everybody that is there. Cotto, Williams in a year or 2, and maybe even Margarito. He should want to fight Margarito on the basis he was claimed to have been ducking him, hell if I was a boxer who claimed to be the greatest of all time, you better believe I'd get Margarito in there.
