    :yep Mayweather seems to think he's doing the world a favor by boxing other people. No Mayweather, it's what you do for a living sunshine.

    exactly the point i'm trying to make but you know damn well if he beats Cotto the naysayers will want him to go thru list after list fighters. it's bull**** argument and they know it 6 belts 5 divisions is enough. gtfoh haters!! just admit you want him to lose b/c he talks **** lol i'd respect you more instead of after every win...."oh he still has to beat so and so" it will go on forever

    It won't go on forever, but it's certainly the nature of the beast. Look if Floyd wants to be the best, or even one of the best, he has to keep on fighting and winning, cause that's what the best did. Personally I think he's about 15th in the at time p4p category, that's pretty damn good. But if he thinks he's the greatest, and he wants to move up the ladder, than he needs to fight. if he's happy with being close but not at the top then he should stop. But if he does stop, he's not going to be in the league of the SRL, SRR, Duran's cause they didn't stop, they beat, or at least fought, the best out there. So if Mayweather wants to be remembered in this category, he should be trying to fight the Cotto's and the Williams out there, just like the other greats did.
