-Hopkins seems to know how good Pavlik is which is why he hasnt disrespected Pavlik in any way. -Hopkins says the reason he is fighting if for money for "backpay" -Hes been fighting like an old man for quite a few years now but has only been very noticeable in his last fight. (his fight with Tarver was one of his easiest fights ever therefore he didnt have to overextend himself mentally whatsoever.) -Another reason he will lose aside from his own deterioration both physically and mentally: Kelly Pavlik.. If Bernard knocks down pavlik early and if he gets Pavlik upset he will be knocked out later in the fight.. But one thing I will say... if Hopkins does get knocked out it wont be without a fight.. Hops wont give it all away so easy. My prayers are with Hopkins..:deal
I think this is going to be a tough fight for both of them. I dont think Hopkins is going to get in exchanges with Pavlik. I think he is going to box and try to outclass the younger Pavlik.
I'm sure he is. We will see if he succeeds. Remember that Pavlik for all his youth is nowhere as experienced as Calzaghe and I don't think he can do the same Joe did. Can he do something else - his own thing? Maybe. We will have to wait and see.
