Had to post this to be honest - spent the whole time creasing myself laughing all the way through it - and then going ooooh :yikes aaahhh:yikes eerrgghh :yikes ooo jesus!! feck!!:rofl Can anyone spot any of the black murderers row amongst any of it?? Lots of bits of footage I've never even laid eyes on before - but all just quick snippets - reckon one of them might be Jimmy Bivins though?? Looked a bit like him but may be wrong

Nice find. I'd say a lot of those were taken from amateur bouts. The beginning part is from an amateur fight of Floyd Patterson's.

Rocky, great clips. These fights were taken from Golden Gloves semi-finals and finals, most likely in MSG. I recognize one of the refs, from the Golden Gloves bouts. In those days the amateurs didnt wear headgear as they do today. Fighters ,to reach the finals at the NY golden Gloves, had on average 7 bouts,so many contestants entered the GG those days.
In the 1930s in MSG, the final bouts had THREE rings active at the same time. So much
competition in those tougher days.Take care R...

Anyone recognise who it is at 3:55 - might not be anyone I guess but the guy scoring the KD reminds me a little of Jimmy Bivins?

He does. Looks more seasoned than the rest of the fighters on that clip too. Impossible to know though without having seen these films and their names not being on it.
