I don't think we're talking prime Charles here are we. OHHH you're talking about the 30-something YO Charles who already had 70-80 fights under his belt..Gotcha. Note, we're comparing prime for prime here.
    Charles resume = very impressive

Yes. Charles beat Walcott, Moore(x2). Joe Louis, Maxim(x4 i think), Burley,Lesnevich, etc, and gave Marciano all he could handle.

Charles was never meant to be a HW, and was just not a spring chicken by the time he ran into the ROCK. That guy could KTFO most blown up LHWs.

nobody is denying Charles power but you think he would have been able to touch Roy? I mean, he might have but idk, none of those guys have even half the speed of prime RJJ

Charles was incredibly fast himself at LHW, at least in terms of handspeed and combos thrown. He didn't move all over the place using lateral movement ali/RJJ style. he has economical movement, more like louis.

Dawson is too economical, he holds too much back. Economical doesn't mean hesitant, when Dawson has a guy hurt he doesn't finish properly and you cannot say that about Charles.

No I'm talking about when he got bounced off the canvas fourteen times in his 32nd and 33rd fight. He was 22 years of age.

Look I'm not doubting his greatness but you can't just disregard Jones here either.
