Looking around at fight night predictions given by a huge load of pundits and pros it seems like it's a 90/10 spilt for a Canelo win

I personally had this fight as a 60/40 in favour of GGG purely based on the fact GGG is a better boxer than most people give him credit for and I can't see Canelo taking his power.

What do these guys see in Canelo that it seems most fans on this site don't see??

Truth be told GGG gets hit pretty regularly with uppercuts good thing he has a solid chin.

Hatred and jealousy for GGG. Not so hidden agendas. And the 90/10 split you cite is way off.

I am surprised as well, i thought the pundits and pros would favor Triple G. I still do.
Canelo is beatable that's why he's fought guys like smith (who) and zombie Chavez jr. Not to mention Khan and Kirkland are not middles.
Yes he's a peaking fighter but I think Triple G still has it to Ko him.

Why would anyone in their right mind hate such a humble, decent likeable fellow as GGG? If he were an obnoxious bragging loudmouth like Broner that would make sense. But hate GGG? Nahhhhhh!

He fought Smith because the unbeaten Smith held the WBO belt Canelo wanted.
Just because USA fans might be relatively unfamiliar with a boxer doesn't mean that such a boxer doesn't exist.
All title matches don't take place in the USA nor are talented fighters restricted to the USA.

Kirkland? Kirkland had just gone almost a full 12 with a tough granite-chinned power-punching Tapia just before Canelo fought him. If he was glass chinned why didn't Kirk collapse under the Tapia barrage?

Furthermore, tagging a fighter who has been KOD only twice as glass-jawed while ignoring all the ATG who have been KOD many more times than Kirkland has, such as Archie Moore who was knocked out seven times, and Sonny Liston 3, constitutes an inconsistency which weakens credibility and raises justifiable suspicions of bias.

Kirkland was shot, through and through. He hadn't fought in 17 months and was running the streets partying and using drugs. He got the call on short notice and rumor has it that he just got out of treatment. He had a fly by night trainer and was in no way ready to fight Canelo. He was walking knockout waiting to happen. Oscar dug him up and put him in front of Canelo to be knocked out so that he could pad Canelo's record.

Do you have any documentation which proves that Kirk was in the condition that you claim?

    BTW
Roy Jones was praising Kirk's physical stamina and resistance during most of the fight. Even called him a Mandinko Warrior. Only thing that came under negative scrutiny was his technique. Same with the post-fight interview of his former manager.

You got any proof that he wasn't? Roy Jones was just doing the job he was getting paid to do.

I actually think most experts are picking GGG. It's just some counter-punchers and TMT folks who like Canelo's style that favor him I think.

Here's Danny Jacobs telling you he's never heard of Liam Smith.

I've definitely noticed most of the pros and pundits I've seen give predictions have been picking Canelo. That said, had this been a couple of years ago, or just one year ago even, the overwhelming majority would've picked GGG. The reason for this is obviously because they've seen some signs of weakness and vulnerability in his last two fights and they think he might be on the downward slope. Of course these signs of weakness, vulnerability and ageing have been exactly what Team Canelo, BJS, Jacobs etc. were hoping and praying for.
