Very true. Haye is massively underrated P4P.

I also hate the talk about how he's a cruiserweight. He weighed 210 pounds solid muscle. That is a heavyweight.

The only reason steve was able to have success in the first 2-3 rounds was by fighting a pace he couldn't maintain. He was done when fury knocked him down

We already knew he didn't have a good Chin. What is your point? Fury's Chin is just as bad if not worse. He got put down by a light punching fighter who was 6" shorter and giving up over 40 pounds.

Thing is, Fury pretty much pushed him into position with his elbow. I don't understand why no one is talking about that!

Yeah he was for the first 4 or 5 rounds. Problem for Cunningham was he got tired and stopped throwing as much in the last couple of rounds. Fury being the big oaf he is, just cornered him and fouled his way to victory. But a win is a win i guess.

So if you start your career at a lower weight class and then bulk up later on in your career that makes you a heavyweight now? No Cunningham is a blown up cruiserweight with no punching power.

It doesn't matter if he is a blown CW or a legit HW...

The only thing that it is true and matters is that now...

    ... USS has a new Daddy!!! :)

Honestly if it wasn't for Fury's pre fight shenanigans, we'd all see this outcome in a much different light

Fury made it look like he was fighting a bum, so the impression we get is that he was put on his ass by a bum and had to fight dirty to knock him out

Now if he said that Steve was a two time champ, had a naturally large frame (6'3, 83 inch reach, 210 all muscle) and was the toughest American hw fight to make, than we'd all applaud his victory.

    No, not at all

Fury easily won the first, uss knocked him down in the second, than had two good rounds against a dazed Fury, and in the 5th he clearly lost the round (but due to a head butt or hold or whatever it was called) fury lost a point. And in the 6th and 7th uss was running from fury, taking some massive shots in the process before getting koed

Go back an watch the fight

Fury had won the last two rounds and was well on the way to winning the seventh. It was beginning to slip away from Cunningham from the 5th onwards, even with the point deduction. He was ahead on two scorecards, but it wasn't winning it in the ring as the rounds progressed.
