ughhhh so frustrating as a boxing fan to go thru this period. I know I get it, politics, promoters, scared fighters, tv networks etc, I get it.... but come on!! this is ridiculous Wilder vs. Brazeale Joshua vs. Ruiz Fury vs. Schwartz Whyte vs. Rivas Joyce vs. Ustinov Usyk vs. Takam As embarassing as it is to admit, but the most evenly matched and intriguing HW fight right now is Allen vs. Price hahahahahah
Ruiz isn't a bum and Breazeales probably going to bring Wilder a real bad look even if he loses in what should be close moments. The rest are fighting guys to get rounds in. Takam is not an easy guy either. Joyce has probably limited options available. And according to most on here he's a bum too. Fury could fight someone much better but it's Fury. anyone who can put an undefeated guy like Rivas on a resume gets a pass . In the end the only top guy playing around is Fury who also is not a champion. He also should be wearing the WBC belt so if anyone is encouraging guys to fight at random it's the judges and guys running from fights . Lol
Takam *was* not an easy fighter... come on mate, he's been stepped on. he's psychologically and physically shot... he is just coming for a payday. Joyce isn't a bum, can't wait til he fights DDD. what a fight that will be!! Rivas is 5'10", ok he beat bryan jennings thats pretty good. Ruiz is not good for the sport, don't care what anyone says. he is butterbean level.
Ruiz, Rivas and Takam are legit. Even tho I give Ruiz a ton of ****, he is still an OK contender. Just too many lapses is dicipline.
Takam was within reach of defeating Chisora but fell asleep and against a non power puncher could put in difficult rounds. Ruiz defeated Parker unofficially. If you penalize guys you penalize others , this is how the game is played. Joyce defeats all but 3 guys. DDD isn't ready for Joyce.
You'll be getting a shedload of posts about how Ruiz is "underrated" in the next 12 hours. It's already started.
If Wilder gives Breazeale a canvas nap in the first 30 seconds of round 1, you'll still claim Dominic "bested" him for 25 seconds before Wilder got lucky. You are the living embodiment of commitment bias and how it manifests on internet forums. You could be talking about Inoue and you'd still find a way to crowbar Wilder into the discourse.
Nothings guaranteed in that fight with Breazeale as he could do the same thing and the fanboy in you would post he got a lucky punch before the fight started. the difference between us should be apparent all around the board I was actually involved in combat sports and have family trainers with legends in brief time periods and I don't act like a school girl like you on here, and in fact fought some in real sparring , what have you done besides troll a forum ???. Just something to think about bc up until now I've let you slide with continued poking so be aware next time you might want to put your head back in the clouds and shut your mouth unless you wish to REALLY get into who knows what ? .
Schwarz, Breazeale, and Ruiz are definitely terrible. No idea what some people see in them. Rivas I don't really know anything about. Beating Jennings isn't too bad I guess. I think Takam is okay for Usyk's first fight at heavy. I'm interested to see how Usyk makes the transition.
Whoah, I wouldn't take it that far, I was only talking about the upcoming 3-6 months. the HW is on fire, it just that we hit some dead spots in the upcoming few months. the 80s was quite a stagnant period, so were the late 2000s.... 2016-present has been pretty good.
I don't mind this one fight, just because Usyk is moving up into the biggest division, but he should fight someone better next time This isn't too bad as its a warm up for a really good fight, but only of the Dubois fight happens. If not it's a terrible fight Agreed. All unacceptable and **** fights This is the best fight in the division and neither are bums, both imo would beat all the other opponents, Takam, Ruiz ect.
