I was thinking a little while ago how id really like it if some of my favourite fighters just retired.

And all of a sudden my wishes were granted!! Mosley jacks it in after a gallant performance against the coming man in Saul Alvarez.
Winky Wright ends it officially and finally though I feel he did his own career more harm than good. And Margarito finishes up due to injury. I wished for him to retire for different reasons than the first two mind...

My question is, how long till one or more of them comes back?:patsch

I don't know. Winky wasn't even fighting when he hadn't retired yet, so I doubt he'll be in a hurry to make it back to the ring after actually hanging up the gloves.

I don't think Shane wants to be seen as a stepping stone and start losing to much lesser fighter that he wouldn't have lost to in his prime. So I don't think, and certainly hope, he doesn't come back.

As for Margarito... I think that as long as his body keeps breaking down he's not going to go forward with a fight. But maybe with rest and after feeling better he might give it another go if the money is right. So out of the three I actually think Margo might be the most susceptible one to returning to the ring followed by Mosley.

... Are good for the sport. Roy will probably retire after his next fight. Holyfield wont retire anytime soon because he has been ****ed by the system. He was behind on child support and if i remember it correctly the sum was 300 000 dollars for a year or so. Who the **** can afford to pay that and who the **** needs so much child support ?
Even Toney is behind on taxes.

This is good for the sport, more light for the younger fighters.

    We still got Holy :happy

I could see Margarito coming back. Fighting has always been in his blood and once the eye heals up he might not be able to resist the urge to fight again. Doesn't strike me as one who fought purely for money and to make a better life for himself, he just loved to fight.

Mosley's done, he did fight for money near the end there and wanted to quit in his last two fights. Winky seems like a smart guy, don't think he'll come back either even though he wouldn't be happy with how his career ended.
