All things considered, is BJ Penn vs Matt Hughes 1 the greatest win in MMA history?

In an ideal world, you'd get IP-banned for saying Scott Smith over Pete Drago Sell at the TUF4 finale was a greater win than Penn-Hughes 1.

I would say both Nog vs fedor (fedor) and Serra vs Gsp I (serra) were better wins serra was a small welter and came up from lightweight and Nog was the man until fedor completly demolished him. Remember the sera win was not just a single punch being landed it was a completly onsided fight in sera's favor ending in a stoppage.

then of course theirs the grandaddy of them all in wedum vs Fedor (werdum). fedor being who he is getting beaten by werdum most people thought he would have not trouble defeating... damn!

I know you will say fedor was out of his prime(which is true) but were talking about the GOAT being dethroned here!

Serra-GSP 1 is a great shout. IMO, that's us up to three valid choices for best win ever:

    Penn-Hughes 1, Fedor-Nog 1, Serra-GSP 1.

I don't agree about Werdum-Fedor. Werdum-Fedor was like Tarver's win over Jones - sent shockwaves through the sport, was unmatched in terms of its high-profile nature, but subsequent performances show it simply wasn't the same Fedor/Jones as a few years earlier.
