I am very surprised by all this RUNNING comments. I was surprised at how much Floyd was coming forward during this fight. I guess Pacquiao was waiting for GOD to deliver him into his hands.

Exactly. What Mayweather did was called boxing....running is something a guy like Miguel Vasquez does

It's not shocking people say it. A lot of Pac fans have been saying for years that Floyd runs in every fight. And now of course it's just another excuse for them to use. Pac looked stuck in mud and Floyd used great movement. I think Floyd could have walked Pac backwards more than he did if he wanted judging by what happened in this fight. I think that is why Floyd Sr was being so hard on him between rounds.

Floyd didn't try and hurt Pacquiao. That's pretty much running.

The myth that Floyd runs is just from the haters.

They can't accept Mayweather is a supreme boxer with a wide range of skills who can fight in various different ways.

When he sat on the ropes v Cotto people said it was because his legs have gone. When he sat on the ropes v Maidana they said his legs had gone.

When he took the initiave v Canelo they said it was because Floyd forced Canelo to come in weight drained.

When he out punches Manny, out lands Manny they say he ran.

You know when someone is running when he's clearly trying to stall, to avoid getting hit and just simply waiting for the clock to run out. You can tell when someones heart is not in it anymore. It's perfectly legal to do, and at times effective and a smart gameplan decision during a fight. There are times where I like when a fighter runs or "uses lateral motion". Sometimes people run for survival to avoid getting KO'd. In Floyd's case, it's a strategy he employes, but in Floyd's case he calls himself TBE and has said he's better than Muhammad Ali. When you say stuff like that you open yourself up for criticism. Bottom line, if you're the best ever, you shouldn't need to run.

Running away is really a sissy thing to do. If your an underdog, sometimes you run when you know you are outmatched and live to fight another day. That's fine. Not when you are supposedly TBE. TBE shouldn't have to run to win a fight. It's absurd and embarrassing to the sport of boxing to charge people so much money only to run like that.

LOL Ali did this **** all the time and people loved him for it. He stank up so many matches in the 70s with his stall tactics it's ludicrous. BTW I don't give a **** about either FMJ or Ali, both are terrible people in my opinion. Just funny how Muhammed is being brought up as a contrast to Floyd when they both pull the same tricks out of the bag.

Ali didn't run. There ain't no freakin way you can say that Floyd is better the Muhammad Ali. Ali never ran away like that. Not like Floyd did. Ali never ducked no one, he was always up for a fight. He would move laterally he would lean on the ropes, but never ran. Ali did it with class and it's disrespectful for Floyd to say he's better than Muhammad Ali. Ali called himself the Greatest but never said he's better than anyone else. He did it with charisma to put smiles on peoples faces. Floyd doesn't fight for the people like Ali or Manny Pacquiao, Floyd just fights for Money. Ali and Manny fight because they love to fight. Sure they like Money too, who wouldn't but the way they act and the way they fight is different and better than Floyd.

This. But even if those guys do fight for the people who gives a ****? That has nothing to do with what someone shows in the ring. Not a damn thing. Hell, P4P #1 Ray Robinson beat the **** out of women and was a bad guy too.

And yeah. In no universe does Floyd rank over Ali p4p. We can agree on that. And neither one is a saint either.

Then what kept Pacquiao off him most of the night? Something stopped Pac from rushing in
