Is false in the fight with Taylor which was effectivly supermiddleweight he hurt Jermain everytine with the jab and the right hand to the body, Pavlik has heavy hands hes a natural SMW/LH and will carry his power up with him its onli 8 pounds up and Pavlik will be stronger up there.

Possibly, I can't be too sure of that one way or the other. Some guys carry their tremendous power through many divisions while others seem to lose their power after just a single move up in weight. Time will tell will Kelly.

The only time I saw JT really hurt was a right hand to the body late on - the end of the 11th I think.

In my opinion, moving up in weight isn't so much about punching power as it is the opponents ability to take a punch. Kelly will have plenty of power at 168. Naturally, the opponents walk around weight is usually heavier.

It's more of unsure if he will carry it up properly. He did have it against Jermain but that still wasn't at 168.

Hopefully he will, I think he'll retain most of his power and stop Calzaghe.

pavlik in my opinion is so overrated, he is like a robot far to staionary, jab then a right, people mentioned his speed in his fight but he was fighting another very stationary target, calzaghe will be more fluent more faster and more elusive than anybody pavliks fought, pavik is a fighter who has power yes but never before been tested at 168, and never seen a opponent who has more speed and skills and also joe is the hardest opponenet by far

people who say pavlik will just go in there and ko joe and its over you guys might aswell say by to pavliks 0! because its gunna go!

Pavlik is willing to take that test, so why don't we leave it up to the fighters to determine that? Provided Joe steps up.

Pavlik will carry his power up. The only difference is that Pavlik's chin will be better.

Pavlik already had 15+ fights above 160. He fought often at SMW early in his career. Power was never problem for him at the higher weight. People don't know what they're talking about.

Pavlik makes weight by hard work. Period. At some point in the process you start to lose muscle cuz their just AIN'T any fat. That is why he has so much trouble losing the last 5 pounds.

As long as he works hard and is pushing that damn tire ... theres no one on earth that can mess with him.

Pavlik will be strong ... he's probably more committed to his punches rather than have devastating power.

I think that Pavlik works harder than most fighters in the game today ... his workout regimine is up there with that of a HW fighter. I also think that he's good at super middleweight and light heavyweight.
