Nothing wrong with selling the fight but you shouldn't put off fans by what you say. Floyd can have a lot more fans than he already does.

Mate...just watch me calling for him to face Cotto next or else, in the next couple of days!:deal

But first, I thought I'd clear a little thing up...

Whenever people ask him why he acts the way he does...he says:

"This is America! People want to see controversy! This is what sells fights!..etc."

He might not be very intelligent or well advised because his way of selling fights, effective as it is always works on the premise that he is the bad guy that everyone wants to pay to see get beaten - but he does sell those fights and to him and his advisers, this is how to play it in America...but that doesn't mean that the way he acts he really feels...;)

DeLaHoya is the most famous active (well semi active) fighter in the world, he is nothing but absolute class, what does that tell you about this stupid notion that you have to act like a pro wrestler to sell fights come from?

Sugar Ray Leonard was the exact same.

I agree...he is silly and badly advised...he tries to sell himself as a mix of Ali and flash getto gangsta....it doesn't work, but he THINKS it does...

...but he isn't that person he is trying to sell...it's an act...he might be immature and silly...but he is NOT a bad man, quite the contrary....

The real Mayweather is the one after the fight, when he gives his opponents a lot of credit, with humility and a true heart...not the act that badmouths his opponents and shits on them from a great height before the fight...:deal

    And you know this how?

Even if your right, the "fake" mayweather is performing real actions.

Deceball, of course he's not a "bad man" in the absolute sense, but people are judged by their actions. To steal a quote from the movie Batman Begins - "you are defined by what you do."

:patsch Your hopeless man  Look, the guy is all an act. He's fake, plastic, shallow, whatever you want to call it. He's a great fighter and all, but acting like a self-absorbed ***** 90% of the time doesn't qualify you as a 'decent person.' I'm sure he's a wonderful, loving, caring human being on the inside, but so is everyone else. It's what you do that counts, and when you act like a total *******, that's exactly what you are.
