    The steadier, upright style of Kingpetch against the more explosive, and at times erratic style of Bassa?

    Bassa should take this, I think Pone`s long reach and boxing style would pose some problems initially for Bassa, but once he realizes he can hurt the weak chinned Thailander with almost anything he throws he will tear into him and get him out of there shortly afterwards. Bassa`s chin was nothing to write home about either mind you, but at least he had some serious pop in his fists unlike Kingpetch who had none.

    But I will add that if Fidel is looking to just chase after his man like he did in the Zapata rematch and not look to cut the ring off then I can well see Pone get the better of him, but I would think that a focused Bassa will walk away a winner by KO by the mid to late rounds while probably behind on points.

    Fidel behind on points lands the crushing blow and knocks out Pone in the eighth round. Kingpetch tries to recover, but cannot keep Bassa off of him. Bassa TKO 8.

    I think Bassa's fluidity and explosiveness give him the edge here. Kingpetch was a very good, solid boxing technician, but one lacked explosion or that next gear. I think Bassa would be able to box to his liking throughout the bout, one that sees him land the bigger shots, the better combinations, and generally control the exchanges. TKO probably around the same times that have already been mentioned for Bassa.

    Yeah i wasn't impressed with Bassa's cutting off the ring ability (or lack of it) in the first Zapata fight at all, but just like that night i think he could get the job done. I do think if Kingpetch jabs more than did Zapata though (which he will) then he can win it. The only thing that makes me want to pick Bassa is what you highlighted right off the bat there, he can hurt him.

    I have to say Bassa wins by stoppage when behind on points.

    I'm going to pick Pone. I think his "proper" boxing gives him a nice edge on both the cards and picks at Bassa's already slightly wayward organisation. Kingpetch takes advantage of his styles advantage and surprises everyone, catching Bassa coming in clumsy with straight punches and finishing him neatly at the very end of the 10th in a TKO.
