Oguma's southpaw stance and smooth boxing skills vs Genaro's fast paced, but skilled and clever attack? Who ya got?
Not too familiar with Genaro to be honest, I have some footage of him but haven`t seen any of it in god knows how long whereas I have seen some of Oguma very recently. So with that said I will favour Oguma seeing as he is fresher in my mind`s eye and since he was a damn good fighter as well, very underrated pugilist that man was. I think he will outgut and outhustle Genaro down the stretch to pull out a close but deserved decision while probably all banged up with cuts and such as he so often was even in victory.
Genaro has trouble catching Oguma early on. But Frankie finds his rythum & starts to land the leather. Shoji comes on late, but comes up a little short. Genaro 15 round split decision.
