    There seems to me this consensus in the boxing community where is a great fight loses all of a sudden there not in their prime anymore. This is ridiculous a fighter can be in their prime and still lose. Ezzard Charles being a great example.

    I’ve done a lot of research on Ezzard Charles. I’ve talked to his personal friends and read his book. Here’s what they say and here’s what the film tells me with my own two eyes

    here’s what his personal friend told me

    Charles was at his peak 1946-1948. Charles became “tougher” and “matured” into a man coming out of army.

    His best weight was in the mid-high 170s. His friend said he looked faster and never moved better and his body looked in ripped pristine shape
