I can see that argument as well. But I give a lot worth to domination myself and I felt Uysk was more consistent and decisive in his wins for most of his career and didn't hit some the lower points Holyfield did.

More consistent, more dominant, more wins in cruiserweight, and proved himself the best fighter at heavyweight, and actually won his series against Fury and Joshua and doesn't have Holyfield's losses to Bowe and Moorer

Holyfield only had really low points when he was in his 40s.

Before the age of 40 he only lost to Bowe, Lewis, Moorer, and he reveneged the Moorer loss and managed to beat Bowe once.

Prime Lewis, Prime Bowe, are considerably better than any of Usyk's opposition and Moorer would be a top 3 opponent for Usyk.

You need to have context when discussing Holyfield’s losses.

Joe Calzaghe considering his wins over Bernard Hopkins and RJJ were the versions that were beyond their best days.

P4P top 100 is so high that boxrec ranks Lloyd Marshall 99, Sam Langford 101st and Mosley 102nd. When you truly consider all the lower weight classes fighting a top 100 P4P is like stumbling across a unicorn. Many of us don't watch or know much about the lowest weight classes but P4P is not for Cruisers and bigger LHWs unless we're limiting it to a few weight classes.

The only HWs who belong on this list are ones who either came from MW/lower or beat Harry Greb. Holyfield and Haye have a better P4P argument than Usyk because they almost beat Valuev and Holyfield was 46 but this list is not for 6 ft 2 and 6 ft 3 cruisers.

I'm going by the size definition of "P4P" here like you all seem to be doing. Not the top 100 best fighters ever or most accomplished champions. P4P is suggesting what if size was equal who'd win. The whole point is to handicap against 6 ft+ and 200+ guys.

I personally think Uysk wouldn't have lost to Moorer and would have done better vs both Bowe and Lewis who Holyfield lost 4 out of 5 fights to. But it's true most of Holyfield's struggles came after 1999.

And Holyfield wouldn't of lost to anyone on Usyk's resume pit a 1988-1993 Heavyweight version of Holyfield against all of Usyk's Heavyweight opposition he goes undefeated.

He struggled with past their best Holmes, Foreman, lost to Bowe and lost to Moorer. Not really a killers row right there whereas Usyk clearly beat every person he stepped into the ring with.

I see it a similar way but I can also see why people would argue for Holyfield tbf depends on criteria.
