All-time heavyweight H2H tournament - PARTICIPANTS NEEDED

I don't know if this was ever done, but I'm seeing a lot of good discussions on this board about various heavyweights and how they stack up against each other, and would love to put on a tournament.

Here's what I'm thinking:

I'd like the board to suggest the 10 BEST (not greatest) heavyweights in history. By BEST, I mean those who you would consider the head-to-head most dominant fighters ever at their absolute peak. Once we give everybody enough time to weigh in with their lists, I'll seed them based on frequency and rank of mention. Each week, I will hold two one week polls where everybody debates and votes. The winner advances to the next round.

I'm curious to see how the tournament turns out.

The first step is for everybody to post their top 10 H2H heavyweights.

It may end up coming to that, but I'm curious to see how the brackets shape up, if enough people participate. Post your top 10 H2H so I can score them.

I think its a good list. Good to see I'm not the only person who recognizes Bowie's abilities, even if his resume falls well short.

 

He can be. Submit your list of 10, and if enough people have him in their list of 10, he'll make it to the master list.

 

I see stickies for Top 100 HW all time, and Top P4P all time, but I didn't see anything that talked about pitting the top 10 H2H against each other.
