I think Tyson gets him out of there early. Tyson just that bit more thought behind his shots and defense. Also picked his punches better. Could see Frazier walking on to something early and not getting his legs back and once Tyson knows your hurt he's all over that ass.

    Tyson KO2

    Best of 3?

I can see Tyson blasting out Frazier early, and just as easily see Frazier smothering him early and then swamping later in the fight, too.

But, given that Frazier generally tended to improve upon his performances, I'd give the edge to him in a three fight series. Tyson could blast Smoking Joe out twice in succession, and maybe in a one off situation I'd pick Iron Mike...But over three I think I'll roll with Frazier.

    Tyson would murderlize Frazier.

Body and Hand speed was what made Tyson.

The speed when Tyson was young, it was faster than we had ever before eye witnessed as a mass

Frazier was a all time great. Far more schooled then Mike. Old Schooled.

However, Tyson had something that no power hitter had had before him. Speed. Awesome Speed. Speed so great it EVOLVED the HW division in a way that Ali's speed had evolved the HW division in the 60's and 70's.

Who would win if they fought 3 times after being magically restored to their prefight condition but retaining knowledge ?

Well in that case maybe Frazier wins the next two fights, however, I only say that thinking that Mike would go on a crack binge not caring anymore after knowing he had already beaten Frazier once.

A young Tyson was FAST. Not just fast hand speed, overall body speed. It was simply too much for even big skilled fighters to deal with when Tyson came along.

Tyson would chew up Frazier and spit him out after 2-3 rounds. Frazier had a weak chin, there's no way he could trade with Tyson. This is a huge mismatch and those picking Frazier are blinded by romantic feelings for their 70s heroes.

    People who write Frazier off
here are clueless. I agree with the opinion that early on Tyson might take Frazier out Joe was sometimes a slow starter. I think though some are simply basing it on what Foreman did.
Style wise Tyson isn't Foreman though who was a nightmare for Frazier.
Tyson would have a fighter in front of him who would also be firing and wouldn't be intimidated one iota.
If Frazier gets through the first few rounds then there's actually only one winner here. Tyson's intensity dropped after 4 or 5 rounds and he would find himself on the back foot under constant pressure.
Fighting on the back foot under pressure is something Tyson simply couldn't do.
I think Frazier would ride out the early storm possibly have to come off the floor and stop Tyson late.
