Interesting. I thought this one would be more competitive.

Nice fight, 2 boxers who were head to head monsters but lacking in resume. My initial reaction is that Vitali wins, just too big, too skillful a boxer.

But I think Liston would be a real handful and give Vitali a tough fight. Vitali is not like Wlad he will fight instead of clinching. This will give Liston chances to get his shots off. Liston is far better than Chisora who gave Vitali a good fight. Much more power, great jab, the bigger reach despite being shorter and a brutal body attack.

I still think Vitali wins on points, his durability, work rate makes him a very difficult fighter to beat barring cuts/injury. Liston was the bigger man 95% of the time but he would be dwarfed by Vitali who could bully and manhandle Liston on the inside where he usually was so strong.

    Liston all day, every day..

Vitali struggled against Kevin Johnson & was repeatedly caught by Johnson's jab in that fight, Liston with his reach, aggression, strength & punchpower to chop the big oak down slowly but surely.

How old was Vitali when he fought an old out of shape Lewis?

He still got his face disfigured & ate right hands for breakfast, dinner & lunch. That was prime Vitali right there, I'd pick prime Liston to beat that Vitali.

Liston was the most hilarious hypejob in boxing history. there was absolutely nothing he did remarkably well
Vitali schools him easily and ends it whenever he wants to
    mismatch.

LOL, Is this like a Playstation boxing game where game play & rules doesn't follow reality?

Vitali would use his size and skill and outbox him... Unless he gets cut or injured of course.

Outstanding fight. I would pick Liston on points. Liston is probably a horrorshow style for Vitali.
