Think this is a shitty style matchup for Jack

 

Yup. "Seedings" screwed over Jeffries and Johnson.

 

what would happen on the inside? lol. wrestling match .

 

Probably the worst styles matchup that could be made for Johnson. Gotta roll with Wlad in this one.

 

The clinch is Wlads only way to protect his potato chip chin.

Here he is faced against a guy who can clinch better than him and could also fight out of the clinch.

Johnson out works him, backs him up and turns him over.

Waste of time putting Wlad in fantasy fights anyway because in a fair fight without his ref he'd be dq'd everytime.

 

This is what I initially thinking. Johnson had a dirty inside game but wlad has height and leverage .

 

A conservative outboxer with power, range, and patience is kryptonite for Johnson. Jack thrived on his opponents' mistakes and being able to utilize physical advantages; against Wlad, he's out of luck on both counts. Many fans don't like Wlad's safety-first approach; Jack would like it even less because Wlad's more technically sound than anyone he ever faced.

Johnson was one of the most patient heavyweight champions ever when it came to dictating pace, but that patience is a double-edged sword when he can't win the range game. I don't see him being nearly as effective coming forward, and against Wlad, I think that's the fight he'd be forced to fight if he's trying to put himself in to position to score.

 

impossible to be logical in these fantasy fights....there is very little film of johnson and what there is, is almost comical trying to sit through it and watch it.

So much Klitschko overrated on this site, totally nuts, it's like they haven't seen good HW boxing ever.

 

Vlad by knockout, total mismatch. Johnson was good in his day though.........

 

Very interesting match up for me, no mismatch here. Two good chess players, an inside Vs an outside specialist.
I think a peak Johnson out-thinks Wlad here and grits his way to a dirty, grapply 2-1 victory over the three bouts.

 

You're assesment of Wlad is made up. The Wlad you descride here does not exist. He doesn't control range half as good as you make out.

Everybody Wlad fights gets in on him. Even old retired Mormeck who was only there for a pay day.

Johnson counters his outstretched jab before tearing a new one on the inside.

 

Shitty match up for the people watching it, both liked to spoil on the inside.
