I know what you mean, he could actually fight inside and did let his hands go... but there was times in some of those long ass fights that they would clinch so much it was practically unwatchable. Johnson wasn't the most interesting fighter to watch, put him in there against the modern day Jack Johnson and you've got snore fest written all over it.

Klitschko would dominate the fight on the outside and would be physically strong enough to get the best of the wrestling match on the inside.

 

Wlad never beat a great fighter in his life and it never took a great fighter to beat Wlad.

You need to think about that fact a little more before picking him against former greats.

Wlad is a mentally weak softie and that weakness does him no good against Johnson who by your own admission was a 'stone cold killer'..

Yes but h2h matchups aren't just based on "who's the greater fighter", styles make fights and stylistically, this is a nightmare matchup for Jack Johnson IMO.

Wlad has better longevity than Jack.

 

It's hilarious to see 25% of people on ESB are actually delusional to vote for Johnson. Johnson - put in a time machine - wouldn't be a top 50 HW today.

he may last late into the fight considering the many fighters that were able to do it. but at the end of the day, it's a KO win for Wlad.
